Ahola is a family business founded in 1955 that has grown over the years into an international logistics group. We are a reliable, modern and sustainable logistics professional.

 

Our group consists of Ahola Transport, a road transport professional; Ahola Special, a company focused in specialised transport; and Ahola Digital, a provider of digital solutions in logistics. We serve customers in the Nordic countries, the Baltic states, Poland and other CEE countries. Thanks to an extensive partner network, Ahola has extensive connections throughout Europe.

We have long careers within the Ahola Group, which speaks to the satisfaction and career development opportunities of our staff. We conduct an engagement survey twice a year for our employees, and we use the results to identify areas for improving collective well-being.

 

We also measure our eNPS level, and we are pleased to tell that the rating for the entire group is at an excellent level – our eNPS score is 61 according to the latest measurement.

INVESTMENT IN HUMAN RESOURCES

 

We have worked hard to improve the well-being of our staff. We have listened to the wishes of our staff and worked together to promote well-being at work. The most important change is to improve the transparency of our operations and internal communication throughout the organisation. We want to communicate openly about everything that’s happening in the company: what projects we have going on and where we are heading.

 

We organise internal staff briefings on a regular basis. Once a month, we also try to get together for an office work day. These are important meetings, as our team members are spread across Finland and abroad, and we work largely online. Through virtual meetings and joint gatherings, we have greatly increased our community spirit and togetherness. Employee satisfaction has been steadily increasing and is currently at an all-time high.

 

 

We invest in developing the professional skills of our staff by organising internal training in line with our training plan. This includes, among other things, monthly data security training. Data security is particularly important to us, and its role has become even more important in recent years.
